I am proud to be an Eagle Scout so I thought I’d write a poem for each of the 12 “ A Scout is…..” The Fourth is Friendly
Friendly
A smile and a wave to those you meet
An invitation to take a seat
Hello and a hand shake when you greet
A shared project down the street
Friendliness makes life a joy
Make it a habit you employ
Everyday time you will deploy
The benefits you too enjoy
You never know what good it brings
From other’s lives removes a sting
May turn their low to higher things
And in your soul a song may ring
So be a friend when ere you can
To every woman child or man
And this great truth do understand
That friendliness is really grand
