I am proud to be an Eagle Scout so I thought I’d write a poem for each of the 12 “ A Scout is…..number 11 is clean.
Clean
Next to God is cleanliness
So we should at least I guess
Do the things that make it so
Personal hygiene before you go
Getting dirty at work is sure OK
And sweat and soil is fine at play
Of course it means a great deal more
About how we act what we do for sure
The deals we make and what we say
Integrity in every way
The honesty we strive to live
The fairness to all others give
To be clean is a worthy goa
As life and living take it’s toll
Confession helps to clean our slate
