Right or Wrong
How do we learn right from wrong
Good from ill how to belong
The proper way respect to show
When to stop and when to go
First of all it’s family
The nut they say close to the tree
Then in school there are some guides
Stay in your place hands at your sides
We hope at church the golden rule
Do unto others don’t be a fool
A list of twelve was learned in Scouts
And sports had rules there is no doubt
We all will mimic mentor’s ways
Pattern behavior on display
Hard work faith and loyalty
Good for you and also me
A loyal friend or even foe
Sometimes helps us all to grow
And wisdom always within reach
In books that entertain and teach
And if we fall into disgrace
Cross the line lose our place
12 Steps are a means to change
To help our lives to rearrange
A prayer can help to guide us on
As we decide what’s right or wrong
If we will humbly ask for Grace
