There is nothing quite so grounding
To witness the life surrounding
While you work a day in the forest
And know how greatly you’re blessed
The soil is a wonderful treasure
That God in His wisdom and leisure
Has made with time and decay
To prepare for your planting today
The breeze softly blows cares displacing
A crow calls while hawks above circling
You imagine the view that they spy
While gliding along in the sky
In the valley the creek swiftly flowing
Joins the rhythm of life you’re enjoying
As it travels it’s course to deliver
It’s own life and gifts to the river
When hours have past and you’ve finished
Exhausted yet some how replenished
Giving thanks to the Lord for His grace
Who wonderfully provides you this place
