The Bookstore
These days it’s E-books that I read
And yet the bookstore I do need
To browse the shelves and marvel still
At all the isles and how they fill
With covers colorful and bright
To make a wondrous tempting sight
That says “read me oh read me please!”
Or lures me in to grab and seize
And oatmeal cookie at the case
With coffee brewing in the place
And sometimes find a friend is there
And join a game of chess to share
