The Tenderness
How can we express The Tenderness
The small voice speaking its kindliness
In our heart and in our soul
Calling us to be at peace and whole
Drawing from our breath His praise
As from our lips we sing His praise
He is the Word who helps us speak
He is the Spirit who heals the weak
He is the Lord who leads us on
From darkest nights into the dawn
Our humble hearts shine forth the light
As thankful lives serve with delight
Although the world has lost its way
Abandoned Him to our dismay
He loves it still and gently calls
That just perhaps to win us all
Before the end of time draws near
So none need still live on in fear
Please find a quiet place to be
Alone with Him who come to thee
