November 5 Isaiah 25:9
Surely this is our God;
we trusted in him, and he saved us.
This is the Lord, we trusted in him;
let us rejoice and be glad in his salvation.”
Years ago my wife and I were traveling from Rochester NY to Greenfield NH to visit my good friends there. The weather was stormy the whole way. As we drove across Vermont down a windy steep part of the route the car went into a spin. As I struggled to get control Lily grabbed my arm and prayed out loud for help. We came to a stop inches from the guard rail and a steep drop off.
The next morning we looked over the car. There we discovered a small streak of white paint from the guard rail. We thanked God for keeping our car on the pavement. We trusted in God and He saved us.
