November 12 John 17:3 Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.
The great thing about this prayer of Jesus to God the Father is how true this is for me. I have now told this personal story many times. Yet it bears repeating.
Years ago in the midst of depresion I said, “Can’t I just be?”
Then God spoke introducing Himself saying, “Yes and I Am!”
It took me a while to discover that is His name. It doesn’t get any more personal that this!
So if you don’t have a personal relationship with God, try introducing yourself and see what happens.
