November 18 Revelation 12:10

November 18 Revelation 12:10 Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say:

“Now have come the salvation and the power
and the kingdom of our God,
and the authority of his Messiah.
For the accuser of our brothers and sisters,
who accuses them before our God day and night,
has been hurled down.

The spirit of accusation can be a powerful influence in our lives. It is significantly different from the voice of our conscience and/or the voice of correction from the Lord. It is one thing to be corrected and reaimed toward the things of God and virtue. It is another to be demoralized, tormented, and tempted in the direction of self-destruction.

The accusing voice aims at our destruction. The correcting voice calls us to aim up and be restored. It doesn’t offer excuses it calls us the confession and repentance. It restores us to the Joy is salvation through forgiveness.

When the accusor says “You are no good.” the voice of God says “You are my child whom I love.”

Today I decide to follow the voice of God’s upward call to virtue by the Grace of His Love.
