Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many….
I have written a song called Second Chances. The chorus begins, “He’s the God of second chances. I’m on my third one now!” Some of us take a while to get things right. In fact in the Daily Office and Weekly worship we always say Confession. We all need a regular fresh start.
The Good News is God has already wiped out our mistakes. Yet, he calls us to mature and improve as we recognise on a growing level of maturity the sins we hadn’t noticed as yet.
