Christian’s should not be Antismetic!

Introduction

We are in an unbelievable, terrible period of anti-Semitic hate.  However, Christian’s should not be Antismetic! It is unbiblical! St. Paul writes about this in his letter to the Romans.

 However 25 I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in, 26 and in this way all Israel will be saved. As it is written:

“The deliverer will come from Zion;
he will turn godlessness away from Jacob.

27 And this is my covenant with them when I take away their sins.”

28 As far as the gospel is concerned, they are enemies for your sake; but as far as election is concerned, they are loved on account of the patriarchs, 29 for God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable. 30 Just as you who were at one time disobedient to God have now received mercy as a result of their disobedience, 31 so they too have now become disobedient in order that they too may now receive mercy as a result of God’s mercy to you. 32 For God has bound everyone over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them all. Romans 11:25-32

We owe gratitude

We owe a huge debt of gratitude to the Jews for the rich inheritance we have in the whole Bible. The Jews have been and continue to be God‘s chosen people. How can we forget that Jesus himself is a Jew. It is a continual blot upon Christians that over the centuries up to the present day Christians have persecuted them.

For their part the Jewish people in Israel have treated Christians with kindness and respect. In Israel the government has openly accepted the presence of Christians and Muslims in their country. They have the same freedoms as Jews. Our places of worship throughout the country are allowed and our people are free to participate in commerce and even be represented in the government. They have in fact loved their neighbors as themselves.

An act of God

I consider the the establishment of the state of Israel an act of God returning His people to their ancestral Promised Land after 2000 years of exile. He has blessed them with the ability to turn a barren dessert land back I too the flourishing garden that it has become through their love, skill, wisdom, and hard work. Visiting there in 1983 I saw its beauty first hand. Irrigated fields of green stand starkly vibrant next to parched dirt. Commerce and education thrived. Christian churches crisis crossed the land among towns and cities. We were free too walk where Jesus walked.

The wrong narrative

The current narrative that tries to say the Jews are colonizers in a land belonging to the Palistians is a lie. They were there since Joshua lead them across the Jordon river. You might as well argue, as indeed some do, the we Americans should give the United States back to the native Americans. It is not possible nor reasonable to completely rewrite history.

How in the world can people deny the atrocities of October 7th. The perpetrators vidoed it themselves! It’s like saying the world is flat, the Holocost didn’t happen, and we didn’t land on the moon. It is willful blindness.

Not enemies

The Jews are not our enemies. Rather, those who promote Athiestic Marxist ideology are working to undermine the values of the United States
