We Baby Boomers are in between
In circumstances unforeseen
The times they were a changing then
But even Dylan’s a has been
And flower power’s blown away
As Grass is legal now today
Rebellion fades as parents we
Must be for Mom or Dad the key
To living as their mem’ry fades
And choices for them must be made
Yet still the generation next
High tech and savvy with their text
Are in their turn rebellious too
Or maybe Grands create a zoo
And somehow we who would retire
Take care of generations low and higher
