IPhone Saga concludes

If you haven’t read part one of this story click here to find it. Otherwise read on to discover how my IPhone Saga concludes!

Can I say I hate Android! I can’t figure out how to message. I barely can answer the phone. The only part I enjoyed was a word game. Thank god I soon got my replacement IPad which had all my contacts and phone.

I hate to wait. Remember never pray for patience! You only need it while waiting so such a pray mint add to delay.

The day finally came when we would return to Arkansas. We arrived late so I waited one more day to check my PO Box. What? No Phone! I checked with the postmaster? She confirmed checking adjoining boxes …. No package.

We were on our way to shop in Mountain Home where the man who found the phone lives. So I called him. Thankfully I had put Jo’s information on my IPad. It went to message so I left one.

As it turned out I guessed correctly he was at work. Which he confirmed when I called later in the day. “I got you message.” He said, “Didn’t you get my message?” I explained my difficulties with the Android! “I mailed it yesterday,” he continued. “Should be there by tomorrow. I texted you the tracking .”   I thanked him and resolved to wait a little longer.

Next day, Saturday, I knew from experience Post Offices are not open. However, even though I thought it unlikely and that I’d have to wait until til Tuesday as Monday would be Christmas Day, I went to the Post Office.

Hallelujah, there was a package waiting for me and it was indeed my phone. It was charged and came on mo worse for wear although missing it case which had been destroyed while protecting the phone from being run over!

The final challenge was to get my number switched from the dreaded android back to my IPhone. I had been thinking I would have to go to a Verizon store for this purpose. Then I remembered that they were able to get the number on to the android remotely so….. YES dialing *611 got me to a tech who was able to switch it back.

Then there was yet one more wait. The phone was locked from too many tries at a password? The screen told me to wait three hours and try again. So I did and it did work!

Praise God I have my phone back. One more thing to do next week is to get another case!
