Kidney Stone: my special talent
I’m wrapping up my sixth go around with kidney stones
Got the post op stint removed with just a few groans
Doc says he removed seven with more growing other side
As far as I’m concerned they should stay there and hide
Also had a post op infection fever and chills Richter scale shaking
This too has passed though 7 more days of antibiotics taking
Meanwhile easily tired and fatigued 71 doesn’t quickly bounce back
Trying to pace myself my mind thinks I’m fifty but my body hits the sack
Thanks to those who new and prayed apologies my poems delayed
This one may work to prime my pump still looking for topics relayed
Inspiration will come or not this one is just stirring the pot
Come on back to see if I’m writing or not
Now 74 and I have two more
Two surgeries in store
Got those stones galore
