November 20 John 6:47 Very truly I tell you, the one who believes has eternal life.
The one most real thing for all of us is death. We don’t know when. We don’t know how. But not so deep inside we know it’s coming for us all. However, a key faith of Christianity is life after death. We don’t know how or what it is like. Yet, in the words of Hebrews 11:1 we have hope in what we can not see.
However, some people have. A “death experience” but “come back to life” again. My late wife, Lily was one of these blessed people. In her description of this experience she shares a story much like others with the experience.
She went down a tunnel of white light. At the end she was in a beautiful meadow. Jesus and Matthew (our aborted Son) where there to greet her. Then when she missed me she was rushed back to her body alive.
She believed and this experience fully convinced her. It changed her. The faith she had was even stronger, and mine too.
