Performing is a kind of high
Don’t ask I don’t know why
Well maybe I like the attention
And maybe I like to see reactions
That show someone enjoys what I do
If even for a moment or two
And it’s a bit of a rush to share
A song I have written and dare
To put forth for response from the crowd
Then to have some applause as I bow
