Trustworthy is the first of 12. I am proud to be an Eagle Scout so I thought I’d write a poem for each of the 12 “ A Scout is…..” The first is Trustworthy.
You can count on me
That is how it is to be
You can trust my word is true
I will pay you what is due
If with me you dare to share
I will hold all in my care
Confidences tools or kin
Be assured safe within
If I pledge that I’ll be true
For good or ill I said I do
When a task is set before
I will do and maybe more
You can rely on what I say
It will not change from day to day
For what you see is what you get
Depend on me you safely bet
