What is Kairos? Kairos is a Greek word for time. It is the opposite of Chronos. Get many English words from Chronos: chronometers, chronological, chronic, etc. Kairos by contrast means a special time or as in the New Testament, Jesus came in the fullness of time: the best or perfect time.
In Kairos prison ministry we believe each weekend is a special time and the right time for each resident ( what we call inmates) to participate. It is God’s special time to make Himself known through all the agape love poured out.
Kairos Prison Ministry International has three separate programs. KAIROS INSIDE, is in men’s and women’s prisons. KAIROS TORCH is for incarcerated prisoners youth. KAIROS OUTSIDE is for the women in residents lives, there wives, significant others, adult daughters
