What’s Next ?
My hero on West Wing Jeb Bartlett by name
Would end each meeting by saying the same
“What’s next?” he would ask to any one near
And move on to the next with narry a fear
So now that the Novel is done as can be
I ask the same question of the muse inside me
“What next shall I write? What tail shall I tell?
And when shall it find me? How deep is the well?
I’m looking and waiting and wondering who
Will be the next hero, or villain, or crew
To fill up the pages suspense-fully true
So people will read it and maybe you too!
