Life’s true wisdom’s hard to find
Not as you think within the mind
Hidden in the seeds of time
Underneath the words of rhyme
Die today to live tomorrow
Find your joy next to your sorrow
Give your best from others borrow
Stand your ground fly as a sparrow
Grasp it not it can’t be named
Black nor white can it be tamed
Seek it always without shame
Glimpse it while you play the game
Hold it loosely if you may
Live it fully day by day
Love regardless what they say
See the meaning in the gray
It won’t be there around the bend
Neither waiting at the end
It’s always there a faithful friend
